We will be taking off in the famous area of Chianti, right in the hearth of Tuscany. Our usual launch site is around the Pesa Valley, just 20 minutes far from the city center of San Gimignano. Sometimes, because of the weather conditions, we have to change the position in order to find the perfect wind. Anyway it will be close to the designed place.

An incredibly lush landscape is waiting for you. Like an eagle in the sky, you will admire luxuriant vinyards, ancient olive trees, woods and farmland. This is indeed one of the most living and thriving rural scene on earth. It’s not so rare to find a family of deer or even some wolves. During a clear morning it is possible to see THe Appennines and even the sea. Also the Elsa valley, with its typical towns like cartaldo or Colle val d’Elsa, offer a very charming of flying experience.

At the end of our flight in a hot air balloon over San Gimignano, we will decide the best field to disembark. Depending on the ride, the wind and the weather we will find the best place. Each time the ride and landing place are different, so it is impossibile to predict exactly when we will land. Once back on the ground, we will have a special breakfast in the hearth of Tuscany with typical produts of the territory. There will also be an unmissable bottle of prosecco in order to have a toast together to the beautiful experience.

It’s incredible how this white wine, grow in a land ruled by red wines, became important for the wine and gastronomic culture of the region.
